About Me
👋 Hi, I'm Tanya, a freelance 2D/3D game artist and illustrator based in Doncaster, UK. I specialise in game art, illustration, and visual development for video games and animation, with particular expertise in environments and backgrounds.
Originally from Ukraine, I have a background in traditional art with a degree in Visual, Decorative and Applied Arts. It gave me a strong foundation in traditional art techniques that enhance my digital art.
Since 2014, I've collaborated with clients ranging from independent
developers to established game studios worldwide.
My journey in game development began at Game Insight Studios, where I worked as a UI and icon artist for mobile games. This led to exciting opportunities with various indie projects, including:

On my recent project, "Broken Sword 1 Reforged", I worked as a 2D animator and generalist game artist. My role also involved creating 3D props for animation and design game icons. This full-time position lasted nearly three years, during which I learned many new skills.
While 2D art remains my primary focus, I've been actively expanding my 3D skillset. I'm passionate about continuous learning and pushing creative boundaries in both mediums. When I'm not working on client projects, I create fan art and personal illustrations, some of which are available as prints and gifts in my Etsy shop MyCatLovesMe 😸
